Store Manager
Shelby Paint & Decorating is searching for an experienced Store Manager. This job is a full-time, career opportunity in a growing organization. Key job responsibilities include:
- Hiring, training and coaching of all employees
- Leadership and employee development
- Building an efficient team that is focused on exceptional customer service and business growth
- Development and implementation of processes and procedures that ensure consistent excellence to our customers
- Efficient utilization and control of assets, particularly inventory
- Being a driving force that grows the revenue and profitability of our Rochester Hills location
Interested applicants MUST possess the following qualifications:
- Highest level of honesty and ethics
- Previous success in a management / leadership role
- Previous success in acquiring new business as a main job responsibility
- Strong organizational skills
- High energy level
- High level of intelligence and common sense
- Strong communication skills
Other influencing characteristics include:
- Previous experience in achitectual coatings sales to retail and professional customers
- Previous experience in retail management or sales
- Undergraduate and/or postgraduate degree
Ours is business is seasonal and interested applicants can expect to work 60+ hours per week in the months of April – October and 45-50 hours per week the remainder of the year.
